Ready-made or custom website: how to choose

Start with the work your website must do

Write down the three most important visitor actions: request a quote, book a service, or buy a product. A ready-made design can be a practical starting point when its supported workflow already matches these actions. Test the complete journey on your phone, including form errors and confirmation screens.

Know what customization includes

A change of colours, copy or section order is different from a new booking rule, inventory integration or customer portal. List those requirements separately. Ask which parts you will edit yourself, what needs development, and how revisions are handled. A demo shows a defined scope; it does not prove that every future integration is included.

Compare the whole project

Review content preparation, languages, hosting, licences, maintenance and delivery milestones alongside the initial price. Use a written scope and agree how the finished work will be tested. Explore the Botsmo demos first, then use the customizer to record your preferences.
